Branded Templates are customizable templates used for Reg Forms, Email Archives, and Data Forms.
Viewing and Setting the Default
1 From the Registration Module link in the main navigation, click “Design Registration Template” from the drop down menu.
2 From the To create a new template, click the green '+Add New' button.
3 To edit or view an existing branded template select View/Edit next to the template
4 If you do not have a Branded template specified for a Reg Form, Email Archive or Data Form the Default template will be used. If you do not have a default template a "vanilla" template will be used.
5 To change the Default Branded Template click the Set as default button next to the template you want to make as the default.
Removing an existing form template
Click the "Reg" link from the Console navigation and then click "Design registration templates". To remove a previously built form, simply click the "Delete" button next to the title of the form you want to delete.
Adding/Editing a Branded Templates
The branded template editor functions as a design editing tool within the console to build a header image for your registration forms. You have the ability to create a header by adding up to three images (pictures, logos, etc.), choose titles, fonts and colors. Please see below for an explanation of each form property.
Once you have properly saved your work, you will receive a green notification box at the top center of the screen. You can now leave this page by clicking elsewhere on the website and design template will be saved.
A Template Name - name your template so that it will be easily identifiable should you add multiple templates
B Header - update the header.
C Banner Background
- Header/Banner image
The image or logo that is displayed across the top of the registration form. Note: Image sizes cannot be altered within the form designer and must be uploaded at the desired size.
- Header position
You can choose the placement of your logo to be on the left margin or center.
- Header title
This is the title of the registration form (i.e. Detroit Conference Registration Form).
- Title font color
Choose your title font color here by entering the hex value. Visit http://www.colorpicker.com/ to find a color you like, then copy the hex value from the box (i.e. #ca3e02) and paste it into the Font Title Color on your template form designer. Note: Be sure to include the # before the hex value number.
- Title font family
Choose the desired font for the Title text.
D Body Background
- Banner background color
Choose a color for the background of your banner. Visit http://www.colorpicker.com/ to find a color you like, then copy the hex value from the box (i.e. #ca3e02) and paste it into the box. If you don’t want any color, leave this field blank.
- Banner background image
You can add another image by uploading a file here. You can choose the image placement from the Background Position drop down menu.
- Banner background repeat
If you would like to “tile” your background image across the banner, choose horizontal, vertical or both from the drop down menu.
- Banner background position
Use the drop down menu to determine the placement of your background image (if you are NOT repeating the image).
E Save & Refresh
- Body background color
Choose a color you would like for the white space that goes around the outside of the email’s margins. Visit http://www.colorpicker.com/ to find a color you like, then copy the hex value from the box (i.e. #ca3e02) and paste it into the box.
- Body background image
Instead of a color, you also can place an image in the outside margins of your email. To do this, upload your image here.
- Body background repeat
If you would like to repeat your body background image in the margins, choose horizontal, vertical or both from the drop down menu.
- Body background position
Use the drop down menu to determine the placement of your body background image (if you are NOT repeating the image).
- You can view your design selections as you go by clicking “Save and Refresh”. If you don’t like something, simply edit the design properties and click the “Save and Refresh” button again.
F Template Preview
- A preview of the branded template with some test text. When you click Save & Refresh this area will reload.
