Brand Assets and Templates

Brand assets and templates are very useful for creating registration forms and in the public areas of the email module. Each form is based on a template which defines fonts, style, color scheme, header and footer content. If your system does not have any templates, your registration form will link to a default form which is available in Brick River.

In this tutorial, we will understand the steps for creating and managing templates.

Step 1 - Add a new brand asset/template

  1. On the top menu, click  Reg->Brand Assets and Templates. The list of templates is displayed.

  2. Click Add New. The template editor page is displayed. It acts as a design editing tool within the console to build a header image for your registration forms. You have the ability to create a header, titles, fonts, and colors. Let us understand each section in detail:

    1. Template/asset name: Enter the name of your template so that it will be easily identifiable.
    2. Logo: Choose the Logo.
      • Logo image top and bottom padding: You can choose the placement of your logo.
      • Text Font Color: Choose your title font color here by entering the hex value. Visit http://www.colorpicker.com/ to find a color you like, then copy the hex value from the box (i.e. #ca3e02) and paste it into the Font Title Color on your template form designer. Note: Be sure to include the # before the hex value number.
      • Title Font-Family: Choose the desired font for the Title text.

    3. Logo Background
      • Logo background color: Choose a color for the background of your banner. Visit http://www.colorpicker.com/ to find a color you like, then copy the hex value from the box (i.e. #ca3e02) and paste it into the box. If you don’t want any color, leave this field blank.
      • Logo background image: You can add another image by uploading a file here. You can choose the image placement from the Background Position drop-down menu.
      • Logo background image repeat: If you would like to “tile” your background image across the logo, choose horizontal, vertical or both from the drop-down menu.
      • Logo background position: Use the drop-down menu to determine the placement of your background image (if you are NOT repeating the image).

    4. Template Background
      • Body Background Color: Choose a color you would like for the white space that goes around the outside of the email’s margins. Visit http://www.colorpicker.com/ to find a color you like, then copy the hex value from the box (i.e. #ca3e02) and paste it into the box.
      • Body Background Image: Instead of a color, you also can place an image on the outside margins of your email. To do this, upload your image here.
      • Body Background Repeat: If you would like to repeat your body background image in the margins, choose horizontal, vertical or both from the drop-down menu.
      • Body Background Position: Use the drop-down menu to determine the placement of your body background image (if you are NOT repeating the image).

    5. Brand Assets
      • Logo: You can add another image by uploading a file here.
      • Logo background color: Choose a color for the background of your banner. Visit http://www.colorpicker.com/ to find a color you like, then copy the hex value from the box (i.e. #ca3e02) and paste it into the box. If you don’t want any color, leave this field blank

  3. Save & Refresh: You can view your design selections as you go by clicking Save and Refresh. If you don’t like something, simply edit the design properties and click the Save and Refresh button again.
  4. Template Preview: A preview of the branded template with some test text is shown.

Step 2 - Manage Registration Templates
