This privacy policy covers: what data we collect; how your data is handled; and your rights to your data. We will never sell your data.
There are two places where data collection is applicable.
In our Privacy Policy, when we refer to “Customers” and “Users”, we mean our customers who use our Services and visitors to our website www.brickriver.com. The users, visitors and customers of, our Users’ sites are “End Users”.
This Privacy Policy does not describe what we do with User Content. If you are an End User of one of our User’s sites or systems and want to know how a User handles your information, you should check their site's privacy policy, if applicable. If you want to know about what we do for our own purposes, keep reading.
Our Customers and Users who have created an account on Brick River are responsible for what they do with the personal information they collect, directly or through Brick River, about their End Users.
If you’re one of our Customers or Users, you will collect personal information about your End Users. For example, you may have information about them in your Brick River database or you may collect their name, address, email address and all kinds of other information when using Brick River forms. You may also use cookies and similar technologies to analyze usage and other trends.
You're solely responsible for complying with any laws and regulations that apply to your collection and use of your End Users’ information.
You must publish your own privacy and cookie policies and comply with them.
We’re not liable for your relationship with your End Users or how you collect and use personal information about them and we won’t provide you with any legal advice.
As a User or Customer of Brick River (the product), we will collect:
We collect this information so you can have a user account in the Brick River system to use all the parts of it.
As a User of our website www.brickriver.com we will collect cookies and possibly name, phone, and email if you fill out one of our “Request a Demo” forms.
We may automatically and through third-party tracking services (e.g., Google Analytics) gather certain non-personally identifiable information about your use of our websites and store it in log files. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps, and related data. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, solely to improve the quality of our products and services. Out of respect for your privacy, we do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.

We use session cookies to make it easier for you to use Brick River. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. We use tracking cookies to better understand how you use Brick River, and to enhance your user experience. A tracking cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You are free to decline cookies, but by doing so, you may not be able to take full advantage of all of our offerings. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while using Brick River.
Brick River does not respond to Do Not Track signals sent by your browser or mobile application. Brick River Technologies, LLC does not authorize the collection by third parties of personally identifiable information from Brick River users.
If you register with Brick River as a User, we will send you a welcome email including information about your account. Unless you elect otherwise, we will periodically send you emails notifying you about new or upcoming Brick River products or services, information about changing or updating your registration or payment information, changes to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and promotional materials and offers from our company. Out of respect for your privacy, if you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may opt-out of receiving them as instructed in each email. Be advised, however, that you may not opt-out of receiving emails from us related to technical support or customer service requests.
We understand how highly our Users value the privacy and security of their personally identifiable information. We will disclose information collected from and about you to the following entities for the following purposes: (1) to our related companies, service providers and suppliers, to enable them to fulfill a product or service request or to perform a business, professional or technical support function for us; (2) as necessary if we believe that there has been a violation of our Terms of Service or of our rights or the rights of any third party; and (3) to respond to judicial process and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Our infrastructure
Our entire infrastructure is hosted on Microsoft Azure. We use their security infrastructure.
Your data is continuously backed up using Azure’s data backup services. We can go back a few minutes or a few months. Being on Azure’s infrastructure means that all the services and servers are fault tolerant. If, for example, a VM goes down, Azure spins up a new one. If traffic spikes, Azure automatically spins up new VMs to handle the traffic.
The files are globally redundant. If a data center goes down, they are copied on other data servers across the world.
We never collect any payment information. All payment information does NOT go through our servers. It goes directly to either PayPal, Braintree, or Stripe for all customers using the registration module. And for collection of our Users’ information, it is processed directly with either QuickBooks or Stripe.
In the event Brick River Technologies, LLC, goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. If you are a registered Brick River user, you will be notified via email of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
You have the right to request access to the personal information we gather about you information about the sharing, storage, security and processing of that information.
You have the right to have your data erased or to be “forgotten”.
If you are a user of www.brickriver.com, to make either of these requests, please contact us via this form.
If you are a Customer User, you can submit a help request via the Brick River system.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please contact us using this form.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
