Before creating a Registration Form there are a few set up tasks you may need to perform first. Each form is based on a template which defines fonts style, color scheme and possibly graphic header and footer content. If your system does not have any templates you forms will link to a generic form with black and white format and your Brick River account name as the header.
If you plan to create a form that will accept credit card payments you will need to first configure your system with your Paypal or Braintree account information.
Each of these topics is presented in the following video.
1 From the Registration Module link in the main navigation, click “Design Registration Template” from the drop down menu.
2 From the To create a new template, click the green '+Add New' button.
3 To edit or view an existing branded template select View/Edit next to the template
4 If you do not have a Branded template specified for a Reg Form, Email Archive or Data Form the Default template will be used. If you do not have a default template a "vanilla" template will be used.
5 To change the Default Branded Template click the Set as default button next to the template you want to make as the default.
Removing an existing form template
Click the "Reg" link from the Console navigation and then click "Design registration templates". To remove a previously built form, simply click the "Delete" button next to the title of the form you want to delete.
The branded template editor functions as a design editing tool within the console to build a header image for your registration forms. You have the ability to create a header by adding up to three images (pictures, logos, etc.), choose titles, fonts and colors. Please see below for an explanation of each form property.
Once you have properly saved your work, you will receive a green notification box at the top center of the screen. You can now leave this page by clicking elsewhere on the website and design template will be saved.
A Template Name - name your template so that it will be easily identifiable should you add multiple templates
B Header - update the header.
C Banner Background
D Body Background
E Save & Refresh - You can view your design selections as you go by clicking “Save and Refresh”. If you don’t like something, simply edit the design properties and click the “Save and Refresh” button again.
F Template Preview - A preview of the branded template with some test text. When you click Save & Refresh this area will reload.
